Have you ever wanted to belong to a community of people with big hearts and genuine care? Your family is welcome at Portland Church of the Nazarene! There are ministries for every age group so there’s a great fit for everyone. Joining a ministry group is optional, but we encourage you to check them out as they present opportunities to love God and others more, to grow in your relationships with God and others, and to serve God by serving others!
Our Ministries
Children's Ministry
Our children meet with Pastor Lynn on Sunday mornings for Growth Groups at 9:30am and Children’s Church at 10:30am and again on Wednesday evenings for our Midweek Gathering at 6:00pm. Nursery is also available to children up to age four. Stay tuned also for special children’s events that take place throughout the year, i.e., summer camps, Vacation Bible School, Nerf & Nachos, movie nights, and more!
Youth Ministry
Our teens meet with Joy Guffey on Sunday mornings for Growth Groups at 9:30am and on Wednesday evenings for our Midweek Gathering at 6:00pm (Open Gym begins at 5:30pm). Stay tuned also for special local and district youth events that take place throughout the year, i.e., summer camps, Celebrate Life, lock-ins, and more!
Adult Ministry
Our adults meet Sunday mornings for Growth Groups at 9:30am and for our Worship Gathering at 10:30am as well as Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm for our Midweek Gathering. Stay tuned also for special men’s, women’s, and all-church events that take place throughout the year!
